Around 300 people gathered to demonstrate on the streets of Lisbon as part of the European movement "The Surge", demanding an end to the war in Palestine, a better fight against climate change and the fight against fascism. "This demonstration does not have just one objective. Several movements have joined forces. These include the self-determination of the Palestinian people, the freedom of these people, but also against the consumption of fossil fuels, for the climate, the climate crisis and so on.
