Description
In the presence of the Minister for Equality between Women and Men, Aurore Bergé, a wall of names is inaugurated in Strasbourg to honour the victims of the Holocaust on the site of the former synagogue, burnt down by the Nazis in 1940. It mentions "the 1,896 names of those who were taken from us and the 86 names of the victims executed by the Nazis at Struthof in 1943", declares the Mayor of Strasbourg, Jeanne Barseghian.
