The president of far right National Rally (RN) party, Jordan Bardella, denies harbouring a "little brother syndrome" when it comes to Donald Trump, seeing the election of the American president, whom he says he admires, as a "challenge" for France. "I don't have little-brother syndrome and I don't believe that France's role is to position itself alongside or in the shadow of a great power," said the RN MEP at his New Year address to the press in Paris.
