Bodies lie in the streets of Goma while civilians loot warehouses in the besieged city in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The United Nations says the humanitarian situation is "extremely worrying" amid mass displacement, food shortages, looted aid, overflowing hospitals and widespread sexual violence. The UN's World Food Programme said some of its warehouses had been looted, adding it had "temporarily paused" food assistance amid safety concerns. IMAGES
