Description
Sebastian Diaz, a Colombian man expelled from the US who arrived to Bogota on one of the planes sent by the Colombian government to bring migrants home, describes his painful experience in a detention center in the US.
"It is very hard, 16 days locked up without being able to see the light, with bad food, bad sleep, verbal and physical mistreatment," he recounts as he leaves El Dorado airport.
Bogota sent two air force planes to fetch some 200 of its nationals, including children, from California and Texas after initially turning back two US military planes carrying the same. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
