"This questioning is part of an investigation that has been underway since October 2022, for which he has been charged with two offences dating back to '91 and '99," says Beatrice Zavarro, lawyer for Dominique Pelicot, who was convicted in December for organising the rape of his then wife Gisele Pelicot by dozens of strangers. Dominique Pelicot is due to be heard by an investigating judge from the Nanterre serial crimes unit to clarify his role in two "cold cases". SOUNDBITE
