Wrapped in blankets and gathered around a fire to combat sub-zero temperatures, thousands of Serbian students in the country's second-largest city of Novi Sad demonstrated all night against corruption, united “for justice”. In Serbia's second largest city, they blocked its three bridges over the Danube for three hours on Saturday, before gathering on the Bridge of Liberty, the most important, for a 24-hour blockade. This action comes exactly three months after the collapse of a concrete canopy at Novi Sad railway station, in which 15 people, including two children, perished.
