Tourists whose holiday plans have been altered by a landslide in the French region of Savoie spend the night in a gymnasium in Albertville before packing their suitcases into a shuttle bus. "It wasn't what we wanted for our first night on holiday but these things happen," says Jocelyn, an English tourist from York who was placed in the accomodation centre. Hundreds of people in the region slept in emergency accommodations over the weekend after several boulders fell on a road, closing one of the main routes to major ski resorts, police said.
