Armed militia who support the Congolese armed forces are training new recruits looking to join the fight against the armed group M23, which has begun advancing south after seizing the biggest city in the eastern DR Congo, Goma. Under-resourced compared to the Rwanda-backed M23, the pro-government forces are receiving much-needed food supplies from private donors.
