Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino proposes technical-level talks with the United States to address President Donald Trump's concerns about Chinese influence in the canal.
"The technical team can discuss the matter with the United States and clarify any doubts they may have," Mulino tells reporters after talks with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Mulino adds that he has offered Rubio an expansion of a migration agreement, allowing the United States to use Panama to deport irregular migrants from other countries. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
