On the call of the Alliance police union and in the presence of Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau, several hundred police officers demonstrated outside the National Assembly in Paris, to defend the "profession" and the "resources" of the police for the 2025 budget. "Speeches are not enough for us, we need action, and action means a budget," declared General Secretary of the Alliance national police union Fabien Vanhemelryck.
