Description
Salvadorans are divided over Salvadoran President's, Nayib Bukele, offer to jail Americans so President Donald Trump can outsource the US prison system.
"First, we already have enough criminals here already locked up in the same prison that he [Bukele] made, the CECOT. We do not need to bring more criminals to this country," says 60-year-old war veteran Jose Ordoñez.
While 65-year-old war veteran Jose Alberto Claros thinks Bukele could negotiate the legalization of Salvadoran migrants in the US. "If he makes good agreements with President Trump, good agreements that are favorable for our country, such as stopping emigration from the United States."
