From planting nearer to rainy months to choosing hardier varieties, Zimbabwe’s tobacco industry is taking steps to mitigate the effects of droughts, which with climate change are becoming more prevalent on the African continent. "Our government and our ministry are building a huge amount of dams. So we have got lots and lots of stored water.
