"I am convinced that we will succeed in convincing the court of the need to adapt the sentence in such a way that he can be released immediately," assures Serge Atlaoui's lawyer, a French citizen who escaped the death penalty in Indonesia for drug trafficking. The man, who spent 19 years in detention, arrived in France and was immediately taken to the Osny prison in Val-d'Oise, after a brief appearance at the Bobigny court.
