Description
The Rwanda-backed armed group M23 calls on its "brothers" in the armed forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo to join the "revolution" at a large rally held in Goma, the city which M23 and Rwandan troops captured last week. "Come out and join the revolution, the revolutionary army of Congo, so that we can work together," says Corneille Nangaa, head of a politico-military coalition to which the M23 belongs, as M23's fighters advanced towards another regional capital, Bukavu, in neighbouring South Kivu province.
