Description
In the state of Michoacan, the home of Mexico's famous avocados, producers are "relieved" that the United States has suspended tariffs for a month, just a few days before the Super Bowl - the final of the American football league which will take place on Sunday February 9.
Mexico sent 110,000 tons of avocados to the US only for this event. Despite a pause in the economic confrontation between Mexico and the United States, the threat is still hanging over Agustin del Rio, who owns several hectares of avocados, some of which are destined for export to the northern neighbour.
