Description
At the last meeting before Sunday's parliamentary elections, Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti assures us that his government's relations with the United States and the European Union are stronger than ever.
In power since 2021, the Social Democrat has staked his firm policy towards Serbia. In recent months, his government has dismantled a large number of Serb parallel institutions financed by Belgrade, which does not recognize the independence proclaimed in 2008 by Kosovo, its former province.
This policy is often criticized by Kosovo's Western allies, who have accused Kurti of turning his back on dialogue with Belgrade.
With 50% of voting intentions, according to the latest polls, Mr. Kurti's policies seem to be convincing voters, whom he has called on to ensure him a "great victory". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
