Several dozen researchers and students gather in front of the Panthéon building in Paris at the call of student organisations and the higher education union coalition to denounce the Bayrou government's "catastrophic" university and research budget. The budget for the Ministry of Higher Education and Research will amount to 26.7 billion euros in 2025, with 15.4 billion euros allocated to the "Higher Education and University Research" program, in contrast to 26.6 billion and 15 billion euros respectively for 2024.
