A hospital in the eastern DR Congo city of Bukavu, the capital of South Kivu province, is preparing for an "influx of patients", as fighting erupted in the region between Rwanda-backed M23 fighters and the Congolese army ending a brief lull in the conflict. "We are receiving a lot of patients. As you can see, we are calling for blood donations to enable us to treat not only patients from North Kivu, but also patients from South Kivu," says Guy Mulinganya, Director of the provincial hospital of Bukavu.
