Charity group Christian Aid is warning chocolate could become a luxury in the future if more is not done to combat the effects of climate change, which have dramatically affected the world's cocoa crops in recent years. The wholesale cost of cocoa has risen 400 per cent according to a report by the charity, which notes high rainfall and temperatures resulting in poor yields for farmers in West Africa.
