Description
Singapore's opposition leader arrives at court to hear the verdict in a trial where he is accused of lying to parliament while helping a fellow party member to cover up a false witness account.
Pritam Singh, 48, secretary-general of the Workers' Party, was found guilty on two counts of lying to a parliamentary committee which was probing a fellow MP. His sentence, which will likely be handed down at a later date, could disqualify him from running in upcoming national elections. IMAGES
