Description
Africa has the youngest population in the world, with 70% of sub-Saharan Africa's population under the age of 30.
AFP met with young people across the continent to speak to them about their hopes and fears for the future.
Passionate about the environment and its impact on humans and animals, 22-year-old South African Palesa Molefe is studying for her Bachelor of Science in Climate Change at Wits University in Johannesburg. ”The change that I'd like to bring is to ensure that the youth's voice is heard in every single decision-making process,” she says.
