File images of the Notre-Dame-de-Bétharram Catholic school in southwestern France, and of the Lieutenant-colonel Abadie gendarmerie barracks in Pau, where three men have been arrested as part of an investigation into more than a hundred complaints of physical and sexual violence at the school. French PM Francois Bayrou has been accused by the left of lying to parliament when he said he had no knowledge of the case. French investigative website Mediapart reported that Bayrou -- who has been mayor of Pau since 2014 and remains in the position -- had knowledge of the abuse in the 1990s. IMAGES
