Just a few days before the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Egyptians express their concern regarding the increase in prices as they shop for goods at a market in Sayyida Zeinab district of the old quarters of Cairo. "Prices are 30 to 35 percent higher than last year," says merchant Moamen Mamdouh, adding that "ongoing wars" have contributed in the increase of "prices across everything". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
