Tony Blair arrived at the end of the morning at the Elysée for an interview with Jacques Chirac, on the occasion of the 28th Franco-British summit. The British Prime Minister was welcomed by the president at the foot of the steps, under the bright sunshine. The two leaders then met, surrounded by ministers from both countries. Among the subjects discussed, energy and more precisely the question of civil nuclear power. The two men also discussed Iran, Syria and the situation in the Middle East.
