Austria's conservative People's Party (OVP) announces a government coalition with smaller centrist parties, excluding the far-right Freedom Party which came first in elections in September. OVP leader Christian Stocker said a "common programme" had been agreed with the social democrats and liberals, ending Austria's longest stretch of time without a government in modern history.
