Images of Reunion island, where shops, schools and the airport are closed ahead of the arrival of Cyclone Garance. According to Météo France, the cyclone is expected to pass closest to Reunion island on Friday morning, February 28. However, a red alert was activated on Thursday, February 27, at 7:00 pm local time (3:00 pm GMT), banning all movement and enforcing strict confinement.
