Description
The leader of the Rwanda-backed M23 group, Corneille Nangaa, has asked the people of Bukavu in eastern DR Congo to ‘remain calm’ after two explosions killed at least 11 people at a meeting of the movement. ‘We say that this act will not go without consequences. The first consequence, I can already tell you, is to make sure that this never happens again, and that wherever the source of these threats lies, that these sources are eliminated,’ he added.
