As the legendary carnival of Rio de Janeiro approaches, participants of the Loucura Suburbana (Suburban Craziness) street carnival group engage in singing, dancing, and performing samba. This year, Loucura Suburbana celebrates its 25th anniversary, having been founded in 2001. The group aims to include psychiatric patients from the Municipal Institute Nise da Silveira, along with their families and mental health professionals, in the festivities of the carnival.
