"For me, the issue today is to counter the starification of Mehdi Nemmouche", said journalist and former hostage Nicolas Hénin, who added that the Nemmouche is "deeply rooted in jihadist ideology." In the morning, Didier François, another former French hostage of the Islamic State group in Syria, assured the Paris Special Assize Court that he had "no doubt" that Mehdi Nemmouche was one of his captors.
