Description
A US aircraft carrier arrived in South Korea on Sunday just days after North Korea test-launched cruise missiles. The USS Carl Vinson is stationed in the port of Busan, with the Commander of Carrier Strike Group ONE, Michael S. Wosje, pledging to "further enhance" ties between Washington and Seoul.
“Clearly our presence here in Busan shows the strong alliance between the Republic of Korea and the United States and our opportunity to train and operate together with our allies as we have done for the last 72 years and we will certainly look forward to continuing to do that,” Wosje said.
