A police spokesperson says it is believed there was a "single perpetrator" of an incident in which a car drove into a crowd in Mannheim, southwestern Germany, killing two people and seriously injuring several more. "It is therefore assumed that there is no longer any danger to the population" tells the police spokesperson Stefan Wilhelm. A 40-year-old German man has been arrested. SOUNDBITES
