Description
Thousands of farmers and supporters take to the streets of London on Shrove Tuesday, or 'pancake day', in the latest in series of protests against the UK Labour government's plans to end farms' exemption from inheritance tax rules. Organisers brought the machinery used in the production of pancake ingredients to highlight the investment required to make the delicacy. "A pancake may cost around 40 pence, but there's at least three million pounds of investment just to do that," explains Olly Harrison, the protest organiser. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
