A week before Greenlanders head to the polling station to elect their members of parliament, they express their hopes for independence from Denmark. "We have to fight for our culture, because Denmark took it away from us" says Liv Aurora Jensen, a candidate for the Inuit Ataqatigiit party. Greenland has been in the headlines recently after US President Donald Trump expressed his desire to annex the large Arctic island to the United States.
