Around 200 soldiers and police officers enter Socio Vivienda 2, a sector of Guayaquil, a day after rival factions of an Ecuadoran drug trafficking gang fought in the violent port city, leaving at least 22 people dead. The police have arrested 12 individuals as a result of operations conducted overnight and seized evidence including firearms, ammunition, and drugs.
