Supporters and candidates of Greenland nationalist party Naleraq celebrate as election results show nationalists who campaigned for independence as soon as possible surge.
The party was headed for a "stunning" election score, public broadcaster KNR reported, while centre-right opposition Democratic party, which also calls for independence but in the longer term, held a lead that cannot be beaten in the Danish self-governing territory coveted by US President Donald Trump.
