Description
"Justice for me is, I want to know who pulled the trigger," AFP journalist Dylan Collins said as he and other journalists who survived the 2023 Israeli tank attack addressed the National Press Club in Washington.
The event was organized by the Press Freedom Center. The center's director, Bill McCarren, read a letter from Vermont Senator Peter Welch, who represents Collins, opposing assistance to Israeli Defense Forces units that commit war crimes. Additionally, McCarren said that neither the Israeli nor United States Government have adequately investigated the attack on the Israel-Lebanon border and invited Israeli government officials to the Press Club to show their findings to the American public.
