Faced with challenges related to healthcare access in certain rural areas of Corsica, the Corsican Regional Health Agency is introducing an innovative solution: the medi-bus. The mobile healthcare service, operational since February 4, 2025, aims to provide direct medical access to the most isolated populations. The initiative responds to increasing difficulties in accessing medical care, particularly for the elderly, individuals with chronic illnesses, and those without a primary care physician.
