Ukraine risks completely losing control of Russia's Kursk region after continued military pressure from the Kremlin. “I am not sorry for the territory [being lost], but for the lives of our best boys and girls,” says Tetyana Slesarenko, an employee of the Kyiv City Council. Kyiv seized territory in Kursk when it launched its cross-border assault into Russia last year.
