Description
Hong Kong's M+ museum is set to showcase more than 60 works by Picasso loaned from the Picasso Museum in Paris, alongside around 130 others by Asian and Asian-diaspora artists.
Doryun Chong, Artistic Director and Chief Curator of M+ says he hopes the show will help audience discover new aspects not only about Picasso but also about modern and contemporary artists from Asia.
Hong Kong officials have touted the four-month exhibition -- running from March 15 to July 13 -- as part of "Art March", hoping that high-brow events at museums, fairs and auction houses can boost the city's international appeal. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
