Description
Several dozen Syrian Druze clerics cross the armistice line on the Golan Heights into Israel to conduct their community's first pilgrimage since Israel's creation in 1948 to a revered shrine. The convoy entered the Golan Heights from the Druze Arab town of Majdal Shams, where local Druze men gave the clerics a warm welcome with chants and celebration. IMAGES
