Among the tents of the Merzouga desert camp, participants in the 28th edition of the 4L Trophy Raid rally, which began on 19 February in France, hand over the supplies they have brought to volunteers from local associations. In total, "more than 20,000 children will benefit from the equipment," says Laetitia Chevallier, president of the association "Enfants du désert" (Children of the Desert). This year, almost 1,200 vehicles of the legendary Renaud 4L are travelling more than 6,000 km between France, Spain and Morocco, with an estimated arrival in Marrakech on March 2.
