Relatives of the victims and those injured in a nightclub blaze in North Macedonia are waiting for news outside the hospital in Kocani, a small town in the east of the Balkan country. At least 59 people died in the tragedy and more than 150 were injured of which more than twenty are minors. Twenty-two people are in a serious condition, according to Interior Minister Pance Toskovski, who also mentions the opening of a "corruption" investigation involving more than twenty suspects.
