An IED explosion has destroyed a building in Somalia's capital Mogadishu, minutes after the country's president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s, convoy passed on a street, according to security official and witnesses. The Islamist group Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack which comes a week after its deadly assault on a hotel which killed nine civilians.
