Description
Discovered 25 years ago in the southwest Dordogne region of France, the Cussac cave is a pristine and fragile jewel of prehistory, rigorously protected by the State. Inside are bison, mammoths and horses carved in stone and human remains dating back some 30,000 years.
This report was produced on 20 February 2025 at the Cussac cave, thanks to the exceptional authorisation granted by the Regional Department of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
