Description
In Sao Paulo, Brazilians express anger over rising inflation.
The country's central bank's announced a hike in its key interest rate one point to 14.25 percent, a nine-year high, to contain persistent inflation in Latin America's largest economy.
"It's absurd, I think everyone I know today lives in a situation of almost food insecurity," says a 33-year-old. "Everything has increased [in price] too much, it's not sustainable anymore, everything is really expensive," adds Mara de Souza, another Sao Paulo resident. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
