Description
Carowinds, an amusement park in North Carolina, closed the Fury 325 rollercoaster after a frightening crack was spotted on a support beam as cars with passengers whizzed by on June 30. The park advertises the ride as the "tallest, fastest, longest giga coaster in North America." Carowinds released a statement saying, "Safety is our top priority and we appreciate the patience and understanding of our valued guests during this process."
