HYBRID SOLAR ECLIPSE: A rare hybrid solar eclipse occurred over a town in Australia on Thursday (4/20). The sun was completely blocked for 58 seconds, and the full event lasted over three hours.
According to NASA, a hybrid solar eclipse occurs when the eclipse shifts between annular and total eclipse as the moon's shadow moves over the Earth's surface.
