Sunshine is warming things up quickly this afternoon and high in the 80s are just around the corner. Showers and storms develop after 3 p.m. and move across the region through the 9 p.m. We are under a marginal risk for severe storms this evening. The potential for stronger storms will be north of the Columbus area starting around 5 p.m. The storms are expected to move to the south and to the east into Franklin and Licking counties by 7:30 p.m. Another wave of storms could move into the area between 9-10 p.m. Showers and storms wrap up after midnight and cooler drier air settles in.
