A Mexican official says two U.S. citizens missing since their violent abduction last week in the northern Mexican border city of Matamoros have been found dead. The surviving Americans were sped to the border near Brownsville, the southernmost tip of Texas. The convoy of ambulances and SUVs was escorted by Mexican security forces.
